Steigenberger Hotel Hamburg

Perfect Hotel in the center of the city (600 meter from the railways station Hauptbahnhof Hamburg or 2 stations by S Bahn or U Bahn), along a canal, not far from the the 2 lakes (symbol of Hamburg) and the Port: you can visit the city by foot from the Hotel.

Location is great; staff was knowledgeable, friendly and efficent; fitness center was good to have; bed was comfortable, room was spacious and comfortable and clean; bathroom appointments and toiletries were wonderful.

The spa hours - wish the spa had been open esrler for sauna, massage (10am is too late....). Fitness center could have had mchines specifically for legs (leg press? Abductors/aductors?).

Locxation and spacious rooms with good desk facilities.

The hotel is somewhat lacking on ambiance, and the breakfast saloon appear as a converted basement and is a bit over-priced.

We had the most really nice few days there. Stayed for 3 nights, the hotel was ideal and clean, it had stunning location to the major tourist attractions of the city.

The hotel tried to confirm our arrival before any cancellation of our bookings.

Some staffs at the reception were not too friendly to Chinese travellers. The follow up service (to fix a fault in the room) was not delivered.

Nice hotel and I recommend it to family trip

Location, walking distance to shops,harbour,subway, in house resturant.

Breakfast was expensive and selection was limited.

All the staff was extremely helpful, solved my issues. The rooms were brand-new and good-sized here with the bathroom, a nice design, as example. The outdoor restaurant and the main bar were on site. The whole experience was really lovely.

Breakfast was cold, can definitely be improved.

Very friendly staff and if you have some requests they have been handled immedeately. Perfect location for a city holiday.

Basically nothing to complain, only the towels were not too soft :-).

Everything is in the room. Everything that you even can thinking about:) The staff (at the reception and in the restaurant) is exellent!!!

The kitchen in the restaurant is not working after 11.30 PM. It is not a big problem, but :)

close to lovely landmarks and serene park views

I had a fantastic stay with a beautiful room size that provided ample space for my things, making it easy to explore the nearby St Nikolai Memorial and the scenic parks just a short walk away, which I appreciated after busy days of city strolling.

The Location and because of the 5 Stars.

It Sems beautiful from the outside but the interior (I Talk about the Rooms) is very poor and does not have anythingto do with an 5 Star Hotel. I would say: Reception is nice. Service Area is nice but the Roms are to Simple and the beds are a Desaster! For an Couplet a Highriser because there are two beds put together. If you move you will Fall down in the Middle.

Location is perfect and the hotel provides good service.
